Job summary

Inventive AI is seeking a Proposal Manager to own the bid process end to end for RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and security questionnaires. You will coordinate experts across Product, Engineering, Security, Legal and Finance, and ensure timely submissions with a consistent voice.

You will lead bid/no-bid decisions, define win themes with account executives, write and edit clear, persuasive responses, maintain the content library, and drive compliance and quality through final reviews and post-bid analysis.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years managing bids, proposals or RFP responses for B2B SaaS or technology products.
• Experience running several complex bids simultaneously and delivering on time.
• Excellent written English: you can make a technical answer clear, concise and persuasive.
• Strong project management and stakeholder skills; you can get busy experts to deliver without formal authority.
• Comfort with enterprise buyer requirements, including security, compliance and procurement questions.
• Sharp attention to detail and a habit of checking every requirement before submission.
• Curiosity about AI and a willingness to change how bids get done.

Responsibilities

• Own the bid process end to end from intake to submission and deadlines.
• Lead bid/no-bid decisions with Sales.
• Build win strategy with account executives.
• Coordinate input from Product, Engineering, Security, Legal and Finance.
• Write and edit AI-drafted and SME answers into a single voice.
• Run and manage the content library; retire stale content; set review cycles.
• Manage compliance matrices and final reviews before submission.
• Learn from outcomes; run win/loss debriefs and track metrics.
• Be the voice of the proposal team; provide product feedback to Product and Sales/Marketing.
