Job summary

Marsh & McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Manager to provide expert advice and client service across health and welfare plans. You will be the primary contact for clients and carriers, coordinate renewal and new business presentations, and guide analysts through census and materials gathering for enrollments and renewals.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of health plan design, and the ability to present financial factors affecting costs.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience providing group health and benefits sales or service.
• Bachelor degree strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain non-technical matters clearly.
• Strong knowledge of employee health insurance carriers, plan features and cost drivers.
• Valid unrestricted Life and Disability License in California.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint including tables, charts and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for Clients, Carriers and others on the Client Service Team.
• Review RFPs and prepare responses and materials.
• Analyze utilization, carrier reports and claims data and trends.
• Coordinate COBRA, HIPAA and 5500 data.
• Work with carriers to implement new plans smoothly.
• Assist with census gathering and materials for renewals and open enrollment.
• Present renewal outcomes and recommendations to clients.
• Conduct employee open enrollment meetings.
• Respond to and resolve routine client issues regarding benefits.
• Collaborate with Client Executive Service on proactive solutions to client concerns.
