Job summary

Marsh & McLennan Agency in Walnut Creek, CA seeks a Client Manager to provide advisory support with technical and industry knowledge and strong client service skills. You will be the initial contact for Clients, Carriers and the Client Service Team on renewal and new business presentations.

Responsibilities include RFP review, data analysis of utilization and claims, HIPAA/5500 coordination, and guiding Benefit Analysts through census collection and materials for renewals.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience providing group health and benefits sales or service at a brokerage or carrier.
• Bachelor degree strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex topics clearly in writing and speaking.
• Knowledge of employee health insurance carriers, plan design features and cost factors.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs and prepare materials for client presentations.
• Analyze utilization, carrier, and claims data and trends.
• Coordinate COBRA, HIPAA and 5500 data.
• Work with carrier reps to implement new plans smoothly.
• Guide Benefit Analysts in gathering census and plan information for renewals and open enrollment.
