Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency seeks a Client Manager to provide expert guidance on health and welfare plans, renewals, and new business presentations. This role serves as the initial contact for Clients and Carriers on the Client Service Team, handling RFPs, data analysis, and enrollment coordination, with oversight of plan information and materials.

You will explain client needs, ensure accuracy and compliance, and mentor Benefit Analysts through census collection and material preparation for meetings

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of health and welfare plan benefits and carriers.
• Bachelor degree strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly in writing and verbally.
• Knowledge of employee health insurance carriers, plan design features and cost drivers.
• Valid Life and Disability License in California with continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs and prepare responses.
• Analyze utilization reports, carrier reports and claims data.
• Coordinate COBRA, HIPAA and 5500 data.
• Work with carrier representatives to implement new plans smoothly.
• Guide Benefit Analysts in gathering census and plan information for materials.
• Present renewal and new business materials to clients and teams.
• Ensure client files are accurate and comply with policies and standards.
• Present financial measures used to predict plan costs and premium factors.
• Participate in prospect and renewal meetings to learn client needs.
