Job summary

Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator in San Francisco. You will support webinars, sponsorships, conferences, pitches, and submissions to directories, working with regional marketing managers, attorneys, and staff to raise the firm’s visibility and client relationships on the West Coast.

The role follows a hybrid schedule and reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing & Business Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with CRM platforms and marketing databases preferred (InterAction, Foundation).
• Knowledge of business development and marketing in professional services; law firm experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Marketing Managers to support marketing and business development activities.
• Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual conferences, seminars, forums, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and events across CA and Seattle.
• Prepare first drafts of pitches, RFP responses, client presentations, and other materials.
• Maintain experience records and practice content in firm databases.
• Coordinate data collection and production of submissions for legal directories and rankings (Chambers, Legal 500, regional publications).
• Update marketing collateral (brochures, one-pagers, PowerPoint decks, bios, experience lists) per branding standards.
• Assist with editing, production, and distribution of newsletters and client communications.
• Develop understanding of markets, attorney experience, client relationships, and strategic initiatives.
• Use InterAction and other CRM to identify targets, build contact lists, and support outreach.
• Manage and update content on the firm website (bios, matters, experience highlights).
