Job summary

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager of Business Development Strategy to join the Strategy & Marketing Team.

This role supports the Finance & Restructuring practice and will advise lawyers on client pitch strategies, conduct research and analysis, create proposals and pitch materials, manage strategic events, and complete directory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are critical to success.
• Self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous high-visibility projects on fast timetables and can handle high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and implement a broad array of business development activities to grow the firm’s practice and reputation.
• Advise lawyers on effective client pitch strategies and develop compelling proposals and pitch materials.
• Conduct research and analysis and manage strategic events.
• Complete lawyer directory and league table submissions.
