TRC Worldwide Engineering is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of structural engineering and construction business across Florida, focusing on profitability and client relationships.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in marketing or business, 10+ years in BD/sales/PM in construction/engineering with an active client network, strong presentation and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and travel for client meetings and RFP events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or similar field
• 10+ years of progressive business development, sales, and project management experience in construction/engineering with an active client network
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Active driver’s license with a safe driving history

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships and maintain existing ones
• Seek customers in target markets through research and direct contact
• Generate project opportunities and RFPs to meet growth plans
• Drive the sales process from inquiry to close
• Develop and maintain relationships with Major Equipment Vendors and Process Technology Providers
• Collaborate on Marketing and Business Development Plan and strategy
• Track and report status of potential projects and markets
• Lead the development and preparation of RFPs, Pre-Qualifications and presentations
• Ensure communications with customers meet standards and content requirements
• Solicit customer feedback through proposals and execution phases
• Maintain customer contact lists
