Job summary

PULLMAN, a Structural Group Company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the Greater Pittsburgh market. You will build relationships with owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and general contractors to identify, develop, and capture opportunities across commercial, healthcare, higher education, and technology sectors.

Based in the Pittsburgh area with 70-80% travel, you will coordinate with operations, estimating, and technical teams to create pursuit

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development or sales experience in commercial construction.
• Experience calling on owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and general contractors.
• Experience using Salesforce to manage client relationships, opportunities, pipeline activity, and sales forecasting.
• Experience supporting proposal development, prequalification submissions, vendor registrations, and pursuit/capture planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and contractors in Greater Pittsburgh.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities in commercial construction, repair, and restoration markets.
• Manage opportunities and maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in Salesforce.
• Develop pursuit and capture strategies with operations, estimating, and technical teams.
• Lead sales presentations, client meetings, and industry events.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to develop solutions for complex structural challenges.
