Job summary

King & Spalding LLP in the United States is seeking a Business Development Supervisor for its Special Matters and Government Investigations Practice Group. The role supports pitches, RFPs, directories, awards, events and marketing initiatives, collaborating with the firm's Marketing and BD teams.

You will manage content for RFPs, coordinate sponsorships and thought leadership, conduct market and competitive research, onboard laterals, and help advance cross-selling and client outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or JD a plus.
• 5+ years of professional marketing and BD experience in a law-firm environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BD software (BD Hub, Foundation).

Responsibilities

• Lead, draft and coordinate content for RFP responses and dynamic presentations for pitches and new opportunities.
• Maintain pitch/RFP files and track outcomes in the system.
• Draft and coordinate directory and award submissions with the Communications team.
• Identify and coordinate participation in sponsorships, conferences and client events.
• Update PowerPoint pitch decks, fact sheets and website content for targeted client outreach.
• Support cross-selling and market research initiatives and onboard laterals.
