Job summary

King & Spalding in Los Angeles seeks a Business Development Supervisor to drive growth across the California offices and the firm's cross-disciplinary litigation practice. You will partner with partners and office leaders to craft go-to-market strategies, pitches, proposals, and directory submissions.

You will lead BD initiatives for Media, Entertainment, Music, Sports, and Gaming sectors, manage content, events, sponsorships, and awards, and supervise a team of BD professionals in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or JD a plus.
• 5+ years of professional marketing and BD experience in a law firm.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration with partners.
• Advanced project management with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel; experience with BD Hub, Foundation, Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Identify cross-selling opportunities for the Business Litigation practice and CA offices.
• Lead BD initiatives for California offices including client targeting and market visibility.
• Coordinate cross-functional BD for Media, Entertainment, Music, Sports, and Gaming sectors.
• Maintain content and materials; manage pitches and proposals.
• Oversee sponsorships, conferences, and events; measure ROI.
• Update pitch decks, fact sheets, and website content.
• Support social media, PR, and directory submissions.
