Job summary

King & Spalding LLP in Los Angeles is seeking a Business Development Supervisor to lead BD strategies for the California offices, including LA, SF, Silicon Valley and Sacramento, and to drive cross-disciplinary marketing initiatives for the Business Litigation practice.

You will partner with partners and BD colleagues to craft pitches, proposals, directory submissions, and content for events, sponsorships and conferences, while coordinating industry initiatives in media, entertainment, music,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or JD a plus.
• 5+ years of professional marketing and BD experience in a law firm environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with partners and lawyers.
• Excellent communication, including presentation, writing, and verbal, with ability to tailor messages.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify cross-selling opportunities for the Business Litigation practice and California offices.
• Lead execution of BD and client growth initiatives across the California offices.
• Coordinate cross-functional BD initiatives for media, entertainment, music, sports and gaming sectors.
• Maintain knowledge of firmwide lawyers, practice groups, and industry groups to support cross-selling and content creation.
• Oversee and coordinate strategic research on potential clients and industry developments.
