Qualifications

• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, preferably law
• 3+ years of litigation practice experience preferred
• Robust project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of the Litigation Department's objectives, practices, clients, and market trends to identify opportunities and growth
• Execute key initiatives from the group’s strategic business plans with BD team support
• Attend and manage sub-practice meetings, document actions, and drive follow-through
• Collaborate with lawyers to develop compelling pitch materials and client relationships
• Track market/regulatory changes with marketing intelligence
• Lead strategic BD efforts with persuasive messaging for proposals and RFPs
• Ensure BD activities and client information are accurately captured and updated
• Analyze success rates and drive follow-up actions
• Contribute to continuous improvement through debriefs and insights
• Partner with Communications and Marketing to elevate the department's profile
• Oversee conference participation and budget, assist with rankings and awards
• Lead event planning and post-event follow-ups
• Mentor junior BD team members
• Develop firm-wide BD protocols and best practices
