Job summary

Cornerstone Research in New York is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to coordinate BD activities across our Finance practices, directing effort toward high-value opportunities in areas such as Accounting & Tax, M&A, and Bankruptcy.

You will leverage senior consultants, own BD budgets, and manage the BD Specialist, partnering with leadership and the Marketing team to drive proactive client and firm growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with law firm or professional services firm required.
• Experience with Finance-related practices strongly preferred.
• CRM experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate strategic MBD plans for assigned practices with goals, sponsorships, planned marketing campaigns and thought leadership, events, client targets, and BD initiatives.
• Coordinate and prioritize BD activity across Cornerstone Research's Finance practices.
• Evaluate new BD opportunities by building new relationships, identifying new revenue streams, and cross-selling to existing clients.
• Act as a marketing and BD knowledge management resource for assigned practices, including tracking thought leadership to flag for outreach.
• Contribute to development and monitoring of BD budgets for practice groups.
• Manage and mentor the Business Development Specialist supporting BD across practices.
• Own the Client and Expert Feedback Program, including meetings and material preparation.
