Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Business Development Manager - Building & Construction in the Painesville, OH area. The role drives profitable revenue by building strategic relationships with direct prospects and value chain influencers for new and existing tape applications and product development programs.

You will lead lead generation and pipeline growth while fostering strong customer alliances across direct and indirect channels, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Validated commercial experience in specification development and commercial sales, key account management, product management or marketing with the Direct Customer channel.
• Preferred experience in Building & Construction space and with direct customers or converters.
• Strong track record in sales penetration and customer growth strategies across the value chain.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead programs to grow Building Construction sales for strategic initiatives and lead priority commercialization programs.
• Analyze sub-segment market sizing, trends and opportunities for growth areas.
• Grow direct and indirect sales with key influencers and customers across channels.
• Provide product recommendations, technical support, and problem solving through the value chain.
• Uncover true customer needs and prospect new accounts within the territory using digital marketing and referrals.
