Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP in Chicago seeks a Business Development Coordinator to join the Marketing and Business Development team, supporting the Private Equity + Investment Funds practice group. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality materials to support the attorneys’ growth initiatives.

Work closely with practice group attorneys and the BD team to conduct research, develop tailored pitch materials, and coordinate client alerts, newsletters, and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of four years of marketing and business development experience.
• Experience supporting a legal practice or professional services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct client, prospect, industry, and market research to inform BD efforts.
• Create high-quality, tailored pitch materials and responses to RFPs.
• Develop legal directory and award submissions and league tables.
• Coordinate events, webinars, and speaking engagements, including logistics and communications.
• Promote practice successes with media opportunities and thought leadership pieces.
