Job summary

Hunt Electric is seeking a Collections Specialist to actively manage the collection of outstanding invoices and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the collection cycle.

The role requires drive, tact and organizational skills to meet daily deadlines. You will track aging, perform analyses, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of corporate collections experience.
• Experience in business-to-business collections is required.
• Knowledge of billing procedures.
• Experience with Spectrum, Qlik is preferred.
• Ability to manage approximately 500 customer accounts.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Track and resolve outstanding payment issues and generate aging reports.
• Make daily collection calls and update invoice notes.
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues and adjustments.
• Monitor and maintain assigned accounts; process credits and adjustments.
• Help reduce delinquency and accelerate collection when needed.
• Coordinate with sales and project management to resolve issues.
