Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation seeks a detail-oriented AR Collections Specialist to actively manage overdue invoices and maintain strong customer relationships. You will track payments, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with billing and project teams to accelerate collections.

The role supports a hybrid work model in a busy construction environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in corporate collections, strong negotiation and Microsoft Office skills, and experience with Spectrum or Qlik.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of corporate Collections experience with knowledge of billing procedures.
• Proven ability to manage approximately 500 customer accounts.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Track and resolve outstanding payment issues and generate aging reports.
• Make daily collection calls and correspondence on invoices and note updates.
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues and account adjustments.
• Collaborate with Cash App Specialist, billing specialists, and other collection staff.
• Monitor accounts with calls, adjustments, write-offs, and reconciliations.
• Reduce delinquency and accelerate collections by coordinating with sales and project management.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and respond to inquiries promptly.
