Bystronic in Illinois is seeking a full-time, exempt Accounting/Collections professional to manage collections, cash applications, and related accounting tasks. The role balances 50% collections, 25% cash applications, and 25% miscellaneous duties, with emphasis on timely payments and accurate posting to the ERP system.

Responsibilities include calling customers, analyzing payment patterns, resolving disputes, and posting bank transactions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–10 years of collections experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
• Experience with ERP and general ledger processes.

Mansioni

• Make timely collection calls on past due invoices as per guidelines.
• Evaluate payment trends using aging reports.
• Monitor and analyze customer payment patterns and deductions.
• Resolve customer disputes to secure payment within terms.
• Prepare emails and business correspondences on collections issues.
• Review AR detail for credit limit breaches.
• Analyze billing/payments to reconcile internal accounts.
• Retrieve and post bank transactions to ERP.
• Coordinate with financing company on invoicing and settlement.
• Maintain settlement reports by reconciling credit files daily.
