Job summary

ITW Automotive Group is seeking an AR Specialist in Richton Park, IL to own order-to-cash for assigned customers. You will manage billing accuracy, cash application, collections, and reporting to support a clean close.

The role collaborates with Customer Service, Logistics, Sales, and Plant Finance to keep receivables current and resolve disputes efficiently. Strong ERP and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of AR, billing, or collections experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups).

Responsibilities

• Review and release customer invoices with correct pricing, terms, and shipping docs.
• Apply customer payments daily and resolve unapplied cash.
• Investigate, document, and resolve pricing, quantity, quality, and freight deductions.
• Prepare AR subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliations and AR aging reports.
• Identify opportunities to automate billing, cash application, and collections workflows.
