Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee operations at one of our apartment communities. This on-site role requires strong resident relations, leadership, and hands-on management of staff, budgets, and service delivery to ensure occupancy and revenue goals.

You will coach staff, handle leasing workflows, coordinate with maintenance, review financial reports, and respond promptly to resident concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1–2 years of related experience.
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Team player with professional, effective communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Leads property staff, conducting interviews, onboarding, training, timesheet approvals, and annual assessments.
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR.
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing, safety, and daily operations.
• Motivate staff through recognition programs and team-building activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Promote resident satisfaction and respond to complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding high resident standards.
• Analyze market trends and partner with marketing on leasing strategies to reach occupancy goals.
• Follow eviction procedures when required.
• Manage client/owner relationships and provide updates.
