Job summary

BlueLabs is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Strategic Analytics team in a data-driven, client-facing role. You will analyze polling data, build reports, and create client-ready visuals using SQL, Python, Tableau, and GIS tools.

You will collaborate with analysts and data scientists to deliver insights across political, commercial, and non-profit clients, mentoring teammates and presenting findings to diverse audiences. This role is remote-friendly within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a statistical background or 2+ years of data analysis and reporting experience.
• Passionate about using data-driven solutions to improve outcomes.
• Eager to learn data management, analysis, and visualization techniques.
• Able to recognize patterns and check assumptions carefully.
• Strong attention to detail and design sense.
• Experience creating reports and using data visualization/BI tools.
• Experience mapping GIS data using QGIS/ArcGIS.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Proficient with spreadsheet and presentation software (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Keynote).

Responsibilities

• Analyze polling data to identify trends and generate clear client reports.
• Create cross-tabs detailing audience makeup or survey groups.
• Present findings to mixed technical audiences and stakeholders.
• Mentor analysts and fellows to support growth.
• Collaborate with data scientists and consultants to build reusable calculators and reports.
