Job summary

Blue State is seeking a Principal Analyst to serve as Analytics Lead on complex client engagements, driving insights across web, email, paid media, and CRM data. You will mentor team members, shape deliverables, and present findings to clients and partners.

You will work within a cross-functional team, plan measurement and testing, and help expand analytics offerings while staying current on industry trends. Flexible hybrid model with US-based offices in NY/DC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in digital analytics, with marketing/direct response or fundraising campaigns.
• Extensive CRM experience and data from paid media.
• Expert SQL skills for data warehouses; ETL familiarity a plus.
• Proficient in Python, R or similar for data science and visualization.
• Strong mentorship, leadership, and client storytelling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics on client engagements, deliver insights and strategic recommendations.
• Plan measurement strategies, tests, and monitor data collection integrity.
• Develop dashboards and memos to demonstrate value to clients and partners.
• Coach analysts across offices and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
