Job summary

BlueLabs is seeking a Survey Scientist in the United States to apply statistics, programming, and domain knowledge to build the methodological backbone for our general-purpose products and client projects.

You will own the predictive modeling process from ingestion to deployment, develop internal tools for data collection and analysis, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality survey analytics in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with foundations of statistics and modeling (distributions, parameter estimation, confidence intervals and tests).
• Advanced Python proficiency; familiarity with other statistical languages helpful.
• Experience working with survey data, sampling techniques, and survey design.
• Ability to manipulate data with SQL; production-oriented analytics experience.
• Experience building predictive models using regression and ML techniques; ability to communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver survey products and services with the Director of Polling.
• Develop and maintain internal tools to support survey data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Own the predictive modeling process from data ingestion to deployment for key models.
• Ensure data quality and reporting; clean, transform, and aggregate data as needed.
• Collaborate across polling managers, data scientists, project managers, and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and deliver solutions.
