Job summary

JetBlue seeks an Analytics Analyst to bolster System Operations Center decision support. You will translate data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and collaborate with Planning and IT teams to improve throughput and reliability across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; OR 4 years of related work experience.
• 2 years of quantitative and analytical experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, Tableau.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel (20%).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze JetBlue's operational performance and assess constraints that impact efficiency.
• Drive the development and adoption of capabilities, dashboards, and decision-support tools to enhance operational efficiency in the SOC and the broader JetBlue operation.
• Partner with and liaise between operating groups to align tactical execution and strategic objectives.
• Act as a key liaison between operational teams and data experts, applying a holistic view to develop and implement policies, strategies, processes, and technologies that address large-scale challenges while aligning with operational reliability and efficiency goals.
• Support strategic planning for JetBlue's operational reliability across multiple teams.
• Conduct reviews and analyses to support SOC, building a smarter and more resilient schedule.
• Support SOC Weekly Operations Reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide subject matter expertise in operational data, partnering with SOC, Enterprise Planning, IT Products, IT Data, and other stakeholders to ingest and develop insights and support data-driven decision-making from various data sources.
• Other duties as assigned.
