Job summary

JetBlue Airways Corporation in New York is seeking a Senior Analyst in Engine Programs to support strategic engine procurement initiatives. You will analyze data, partner with Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams, and help shape commercial strategies for engine maintenance and sales.

The role emphasizes data mining, dashboard development, and delivering actionable insights under tight deadlines. Travel up to 20% may be required, with a focus on accountable, independent project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Engineering; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
• Three (3) years of analytical and modeling experience in finance, strategic sourcing or equivalent
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent
• Strong analytical, data, numerical, quantitative, reasoning, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong financial, quantitative and data analysis skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project communications and stakeholder expectations
• Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
• Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of a long-term integrative engine fleet strategy
• Conduct analysis for commercial recommendations on engine platforms
• Prepare financial and operational risk analysis for engine maintenance projects
• Function as liaison between Technical Operations’ tactical and strategic teams
• Partner with Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Legal, Finance and Accounting teams
• Maintain relationships with engine OEMs and maintenance providers
• Defines data requirements and validates information for data integrity
• Gathers deep business knowledge on engines and components
• Take ownership of assignments and deliver on deadlines
• Drive projects from analysis to recommendation and execution
• Proactively identify issues and propose solutions
• Other duties as assigned
