Job summary

Oakland Community College is seeking an administrative coordinator to support allied health programs (excluding Nursing). The role coordinates outreach, assists with accreditation, and helps with program activities in a diverse work environment. Transfers to Orchard Ridge campus in Fall 2027.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of paraprofessional or administrative experience, with strong detail, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years’ experience as a Paraprofessional or Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Health Professions.
• Assist program directors with accreditation, student selection, and applications.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on Health Professions events.
• Coordinate outreach events and recruitment activities for Health Professions.
• Maintain asset spreadsheet and manage equipment purchases and maintenance.
• Support marketing materials and program procedures (graphics, webpages).
• Assist with budgeting and financial approvals to support department plans.
• Collaborate with Economic Workforce Development and other college offices.
