Advocate Health is seeking a Technical Program Manager to develop and administer the Epic Factory AI Program and other strategic initiatives under IT leadership. The role requires Epic EHR certification and hands-on experience with core applications, translating business needs into optimized workflows, and leading high-visibility projects.

The ideal candidate will drive adoption, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver AI-enabled healthcare solutions while maintaining strong communication

Qualifications

• Epic certification required (Ambulatory/Orders/ClinDoc, etc.)
• Translate complex business requirements into optimized workflows
• Communicate effectively across senior executives to technical analysts
• Reimagine workflows to improve efficiency and user experience
• Strong understanding of software architecture and healthcare standards
• Lead complex, high-visibility projects from concept to execution
• Deliver strategic initiatives including AI-enabled healthcare solutions
• Drive adoption and sustain process improvements through change management

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer Epic Factory AI Program and cross-application initiatives
• Define business cases and requirements with IT leadership and business units
• Mentor IT team on new systems and enhancements
• Create business process mappings showing interdependencies
• Manage risk, communication plans, and implementation strategies
• Monitor project activities and provide technical direction for project teams
• Measure benefits and outcomes for projects in the portfolio
• Collaborate across IT and business units to leverage technology for operational excellence
