Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Principal AI/Automation Solutions Architect to lead strategy, architecture, and adoption of enterprise AI and automation. You will bridge AI Platform Engineering with Product Delivery, craft scalable reference architectures, and mentor teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions across CVS Health.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, enterprise architecture, or technology consulting.
- Proven success deploying AI, machine learning, automation, or agentic AI solutions across complex enterprise environments.
- 8+ years partnering with platform engineering, product, and delivery teams to drive adoption and roadmaps.
- 7+ years designing architectures with multi-agent orchestration, RAG, memory frameworks, guardrails, and AI governance.
- 5+ years leading architecture reviews and governance without direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between AI Platform Engineering and Product Delivery, translating capabilities into production-ready architectures.
- Define reusable architecture patterns, reference implementations, accelerators and blueprints for automation and AI use cases.
- Lead discovery sessions and prototyping with stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and transition to delivery teams.
- Provide architectural governance ensuring security, privacy, resiliency, scalability and compliance.
- Communicate decisions and trends to engineers, stakeholders, and senior leadership while mentoring teams.
