Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant work experience with 8+ years in architecture.
• 10+ years building large scale business apps using modern technologies.
• 10+ years designing complex integrations with APIs, microservices, event-driven Arc.
• 8+ years with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• 6+ years mentoring delivery teams on north star architectures and POCs.
• Expert in architectural governance, best practices and standards.
• Strong collaboration and influence with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmaps, architectures, standards, and starter code reference implementations.
• Evaluate market trends, cost impact, and buy vs. build decisions.
• Define future state architecture for AI, APIs, data stores, cloud infra and microservices.
• Collaborate with tech and business partners to optimize applications using modern tech.
• Develop strategic vision for CVS Health platform aligned to business drivers.
• Create enterprise frameworks that promote reuse, reduce cost, and speed time to market.
• Mentor engineers and stakeholders on architecture and design.
• Ensure non-functional requirements like performance, availability, security are met.
• Participate in high-level estimation and continuous improvement.
