Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned Architect-Engineer to lead AI-focused architecture efforts, shaping scalable solutions across cloud platforms and APIs. You will mentor teams, drive roadmaps, and collaborate with business partners to align technology with strategic goals. The role emphasizes Generative AI, Agentic AI, and modern distributed systems at scale.

The position offers a full-time, on-site role in the United States with comprehensive benefits and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in AI/ML/Agentic AI, cloud, data platforms and scale.
Experience designing large-scale architectures for enterprise systems.
Strong background in APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of architectural governance, patterns and best practices.

Responsibilities

Define roadmaps, architectures, standards, and starter code to accelerate delivery across technology teams.
Collaborate with partners to optimize applications and systems adopting modern architectures and AI.
Develop and maintain a strategic vision aligned to CVS Health platform.
Define enterprise frameworks to promote reuse, reduce cost, manage risk, and speed time-to-market.
Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and stakeholders on architecture and design.
Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, availability, security) are met.
