Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Architect/Architect AI to lead enterprise architecture efforts across AI, cloud, and data platforms. You will translate high-level concepts into scalable, resilient solutions that support CVS Health's strategic goals and healthcare innovation.

You will mentor engineers, shape roadmaps, and collaborate with business partners to drive adoption of modern architectures like microservices and API-driven designs while ensuring performance, security, and regulatory

Qualifications

Expert-level understanding of architectural methodologies and governance.
Experience with AI/ML/Agentic AI and cloud data platforms.
Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead architecture decisions.
Experience designing large-scale, integrated systems.
Strong collaboration and influence across teams.

Responsibilities

Define and collaborate on roadmaps, architectures, standards, and starter code.
Evaluate market trends and assess cost and impact on outcomes.
Define future state architecture for AI, APIs, data stores, cloud services, and microservices.
Collaborate with technology and business partners to optimize applications.
Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers on architecture and design.
Ensure Non-Functional Requirements like performance, availability, and security.
Mentor and coach junior architects and pursue continuous improvements.
