Job summary

NEW Cooperative seeks an agronomy sales professional to build relationships with customers and provide seed, crop protection, and nutrition solutions. You will serve operations across the Iowa region and collaborate with agronomy teams to drive service excellence.

The role requires CDL with tanker/HazMat, pesticide handling license, and strong negotiation and sales skills. Training and growth opportunities are available in a farmer-owned cooperative.

Qualifications

• Minimum an associate’s degree or equivalent experience in agronomy.
• Strong negotiation skills required. Must possess or develop sales skills.
• Certified Crop Advisor certification preferred.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive; Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsement required.
• Commercial pesticide handler’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Present agronomy services and products to meet customer needs.
• Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after the sale.
• Identify potential customers and build relationships with prospects.
• Meet personal, regional, and company sales goals and report as needed.
• Resolve customer disputes and escalate when necessary.
• Assist in creating soil and nutrient management plans.
