Job summary

NEW Cooperative is seeking an Agronomy Sales & Customer Service professional to build strong relationships with agronomy customers and provide seed, crop protection, and crop nutrition solutions. You will deliver unmatched service before, during, and after the sale while helping meet regional sales goals and collaborating with the agronomy team to support customers across the region.

You will participate in soil map recommendations, yield mapping, and NRCS nutrient management planning,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in agronomy.
• Strong negotiation skills required; must possess or develop sales skills.
• Certified Crop Advisor certification preferred.
• CDL Class A with tanker and HazMat endorsement required.
• Commercial pesticide handler license required.
• Interpersonal communication skills for interacting with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Present agronomy services and products to meet customer needs with unbiased, customized recommendations.
• Provide unmatched customer service before, during and after the sale while balancing sales goals.
• Identify potential customers and build relationships with prospects.
• Work toward achieving personal, regional, and company sales goals and report as needed.
• Resolve customer disputes and escalate to management when necessary.
• Assist in creation of SOILMAP recommendations, yield mapping, and NRCS nutrient management plans.
• Support loading and delivery of agronomy orders and communicate needs to location managers.
