Job summary

NEW Cooperative is seeking an Agronomy Sales professional to develop and maintain strong relationships with agronomy customers, delivering seed, crop protection, and crop nutrition solutions for their operations. The role emphasizes customer service, achieving sales goals, and collaboration with the agronomy team across locations.

Responsibilities include presenting tailored agronomy offerings, building new customer relationships, and supporting soil and nutrient management planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent experience in agronomy.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills required.
• Licensed and insurable to drive; Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsement required.
• Interpersonal communication skills for diverse personalities and teams.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction and understand seasonal farm supply business.

Responsibilities

• Present agronomy services and products to meet customer needs.
• Provide unmatched customer service before, during and after the sale.
• Identify potential customers and build relationships with prospects.
• Assist in agronomy operations and service delivery to customers.
• Contribute to soil mapping, nutrient management plans, and reporting as needed.
