Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Naples, FL, seeks a purchasing professional to secure best quality, price, and service for a wide range of parts, equipment, and materials. You will identify suppliers, issue RFQs, negotiate terms, and manage delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include evaluating bids, monitoring performance, and driving cost reductions through continuous improvement. A BA and CPM/APICS are preferred, with experience in ERP/MRP systems and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; two or more years of purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of purchasing methods, principles, and concepts.
• Experience with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques in purchasing.
• Proficient in standard business software and purchasing/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select suppliers; develop bidder lists and issue RFQs/Proposals.
• Conduct supplier site visits and evaluate production capability and delivery.
• Prepare purchase orders reflecting negotiated price, schedule, and terms.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate price, delivery, and service; develop alternate sources.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality/delivery issues.
• Negotiate and settle claims, rejections, and engineering changes with suppliers.
• Produce moderately complex reports by analyzing trends and data.
• Apply continuous improvement to internal processes and systems.
