It demands a bachelor’s in business administration or related field, and 2+ years of purchasing experience. CPM/APICS is desirable; on-site attendance is required and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

• Knowledge of purchasing and negotiating methods and concepts.
• Knowledge of industry practices and general business operations.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement to purchasing processes.
• Proficiency with standard business software and purchasing/MRP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and select suppliers; develop bidder lists and issue RFQs/Proposals.
• Conduct supplier site visits and evaluate production capability and delivery.
• Prepare POs with negotiated price, terms, and lead times.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate price, delivery, quality and service.
• Monitor supplier performance and address potential failures.
• Assist with supplier disputes and engineering/production changes.
• Prepare reports and provide information on parts and materials.
