Job summary

Parker Hannifin, within Parker Aerospace, seeks a Buyer to obtain the best quality, service, and value through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. This on-site role requires a BA in Business Administration and at least two years of purchasing experience.

CPM or APICS certification is desirable. You will manage supplier relations, prepare purchase orders, track lead times, and support continuous improvement in procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent business studies.
• 2+ years purchasing experience.
• CPM or APICS certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select suppliers, develop bidder lists and issue RFQs.
• Evaluate supplier capacity, performance, and delivery against contracts.
• Prepare purchase orders reflecting negotiated terms and lead times.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Apply continuous improvement to purchasing processes to reduce costs.
