Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. is seeking a Divisional Director of Advisor Acquisition to recruit experienced financial advisors and advisor teams, build recruiting pipelines, and partner with field leadership to anchor growth in an assigned market.

The role requires leading complex recruiting cycles, developing localized sales plans, and delivering competitive deal structures to attract top talent. Travel to markets is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in advisor recruiting, wealth management, business development, wholesaling or related financial services.
• Proven success recruiting experienced financial advisors and advisor teams that drive revenue and AUM growth.
• Strong knowledge of wirehouse, independent broker-dealer, bank, and RIA channels.
• Demonstrated relationship-building, business development, and influencing skills.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned markets.

Responsibilities

• Recruit advisor talent and manage pipelines from sourcing to onboarding.
• Execute business development and advisor recruitment strategies to support growth objectives.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of experienced advisors and advisor teams.
• Research, source, assess, and engage prospective candidates within target advisor segments.
• Own opportunities from initial contact through deal execution and onboarding with field leadership.
• Present Prudential Advisors’ value proposition to prospective advisors and close deals.
