Job summary

The City of Laguna Beach seeks an Administrative Analyst to provide high-level support to Public Works & Utilities. You will assist with contracts, procurement, grants, budgeting, and reporting, while ensuring efficient data-driven processes.

Ideal candidates will bring strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, and be able to work independently on diverse projects using Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in a responsible journey-level administrative role.
• Experience with compiling data, preparing reports, and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develops RFPs and bid documents for new contract solicitations.
• Provides high-level support in contract and procurement management.
• Coordinates special projects and department events.
• Assists in preparation of the department budget.
• Prepares and administers State and Federal grants and participates in audits.
• Prepares graphs, charts, PowerPoint presentations, and agenda reports.
