Irby Utilities is seeking a customer service/order entry specialist to support online and other orders, assist in sales tasks, and communicate with customers to capture requirements. You will aid in RFQs, pricing, and account support while maintaining a professional, collaborative approach and expanding product knowledge to help customers and staff.

The role emphasizes strong MS Office skills, time management, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced utility distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide support with customer service order entry for orders received online and via other sources.
• Assist in sales support tasks, including client research and meeting prep.
• Communicate with customers to understand goals and project requirements.
• Respond to RFQs by describing Irby capabilities and pricing.
• Support Strategic Accounts selling efforts from a corporate perspective.
• Maintain professional demeanor and positive customer relations.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers and staff.
• Identify pricing and reference product details for orders.
