Irby Utilities in Mentor, Ohio seeks a Strategic Accounts Associate to support selling efforts to key customers and assist with order entry, client research, and RFQ responses. You will coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams to understand requirements and quote terms.

The role emphasizes professional communication, data accuracy, and collaboration within a fast-paced utility distribution environment. Relevant experience and an associate degree are preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service order entry support for online and other sources.
• Assist in sales support tasks including client research and meeting prep.
• Communicate with customers to understand goals and project requirements.
• Assist in responding to RFQs by communicating capabilities and pricing.
• Support Strategic Accounts selling efforts from a corporate perspective.
• Demonstrate tact, courtesy and professional behavior toward customers and coworkers.
• Identify pricing and catalog references and maintain vendor/product knowledge.
• Prepare quotes and estimates of prices, terms and delivery.
