Job summary

Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) seeks a Strategic Account Manager to lead engagement with a select group of rightsholder organizations, focusing on scholarly communications and AI offerings. You will drive revenue, expand enrollment, and identify new sales opportunities, while collaborating with CCC teams to deliver value across the industry.

Residence near Danvers, MA is preferred; occasional travel to the office 2–4 times yearly and availability for Eastern 8am–5pm meetings are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years account management experience.
• Publishing industry and Rights and Licensing knowledge and experience.
• Sales experience preferred with business development interest.
• Confident and skilled at building relationships.
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including C-suite executives globally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to travel and represent the company externally.

Responsibilities

• Advise multiple levels of contacts within Rightsholder Accounts to uncover and action opportunities.
• Expand network with identified personas to educate on CCC value.
• Lead Strategic Alignment Meetings with client houses and internal readouts.
• Validate rightsholder needs and identify sales leads for CCC services.
• Meet targets for Revenue, Inventory and other business objectives defined by the Director.
• Maintain knowledge of CCC products and services, especially AI and scholarly communications offerings.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and align CCC communications with rightsholders.
