Cengage North America Higher Education Sales is seeking a Strategic Account Director to own account strategy and multi-year revenue plans for key institutions. The role requires senior-level negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on long-term value realization across CU, EA, and IA models.

As the account leader, you will forecast, manage renewals, and drive expansion while partnering with regional teams to align institutional goals with Cengage business objectives.

Qualifikationen

• BA or BS degree required.
• 5+ years of successful experience in educational or enterprise-level sales.
• Ability to own and complete strategic account plans with long-term revenue accountability.
• Strong background in high-level negotiations.

Aufgaben

• Lead complex contract negotiations with senior-level academic and administrative leaders.
• Own the overall account strategy and forecast for each institution within the assigned territory.
• Develop multi-year growth, retention, and expansion plans aligned with institutional priorities and Cengage objectives.
• Develop financial models linking CU benefits to institution budgets and ROI.
• Drive new business opportunities at executive levels through networking and targeted outreach.
• Manage renewals, upsell, expansion, and conversion opportunities in partnership with Solutions Specialists.
• Articulate the value proposition to support affordability, equity of access, and student outcomes.
