Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking an Account Manager in Golden Valley, MN to drive new business and nurture existing customer relationships. You will execute sales strategies, identify decision-makers, and close opportunities while coordinating with internal teams to offer tailored packaging solutions.

The role requires strong prospecting, strategic thinking, and the ability to travel up to 75% locally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ related sales experience OR Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field in lieu of experience.
• Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and superior resolution and decision-making skills.
• Results-oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success.
• Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time, with occasional extended travel.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Sales Manager, build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers in various industries.
• Drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and creating the right approach to reach them.
• Initiate customer relationships and close business using a proven sales process.
• Leverage packaging capabilities by coordinating with design, pricing, customer service, estimating, production, procurement, and logistics to design solutions that meet customer needs.
• Manage customer expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Cultivate long-term relationships to meet ongoing packaging needs.
