Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Rock Island, IL is seeking an Account Manager who will contribute to growth by winning new business and expanding existing customer relationships.

You will lead a go-to-market strategy, identify decision-makers, and coordinate with design, pricing, production, procurement, and logistics to deliver customized packaging solutions.

This role requires strong communication, a results-driven mindset, and travel up to 75% locally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field.
• Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Excellent communication skills and superior resolution and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Sales Manager, build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers in a variety of new and emerging industries
• Drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and creating the right approach to reach them. Execute traditional and Go-To-Market sales strategies to capture market share, improve profit margin, and deliver untapped value for our customers
• Initiate customer relationships and close business utilizing a proven sales process
• Leverage our packaging capabilities as you work closely with our talented internal teams: design, pricing, customer service, estimating, production, procurement, and logistics - to design custom packaging solutions that meet our customers' needs
• Manage customer expectations and provide excellent customer service experience
• Continue to cultivate long-term customer relationships as you strive to meet their ongoing packaging needs.
• Monitor market, customer, and consumer trends that impact the business
• Other duties, as assigned.
