Job summary

Molex is seeking an Account Manager for a strategic enterprise data center customer. The role focuses on server and switch systems and aims to deliver the best products in the market through expert application service.

You will provide on-field support to design winning projects, coordinate with QA and Development, document meetings, manage action items in Salesforce, and drive revenue growth with strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of related R&D experience on Server or Switch products.
• Experience with fiber optic connectors is a plus.
• Knowledge of server or switch hardware/architecture.
• Familiarity with 3D mechanical design tools.
• Agile, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-field support to key customer to design win key project and grow business by professional application service.
• Offer optimal interconnection solutions based on customer applications and proposed concepts on time.
• Support new parts qualification by customers and align specs between customers and Molex.
• Resolve mechanical application related problems to meet customer needs.
• Support failure analysis for new win projects and coordinate with QA/Development to resolve issues.
• Document external customer and internal meetings and publish notes for internal teams.
• Monitor market trends and participate in competitive analyses.
• Develop and advance mechanical support technologies and share information with Sales/Marketing.
