Job summary

Graymont is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to support its Western Region growth. This remote role requires collaboration with operations, logistics, finance, and legal teams to drive pricing, forecasts, and account plans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial or mining-related B2B roles, with proven negotiation and contract management experience across Western Canada and the Western United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Mining, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum five years in industrial, mining, construction materials, aggregates, chemicals, or related B2B roles.
• Strong understanding of commercial negotiations, contract structures, pricing models, and market-based selling.
• Experience developing long-term customer strategies and growth plans.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; CRM experience is an asset.
• Willing to travel 30-50% across Western Canada and the Western United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial excellence across accounts with pricing, forecasting, and contract management.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans identifying growth opportunities.
• Lead customer negotiations including pricing, contracts, and renewals.
• Coordinate responses to RFPs/RFQs and other proposals with internal stakeholders.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across procurement, operations, and leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute commercial strategies.
• Maintain an active pipeline and provide forecasts and market intelligence.
• Support annual budgets, operating plans, and strategic growth initiatives.
