Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Client Manager in Portsmouth, VA to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, drive renewal and growth, and ensure service quality. You will coordinate with production teams, review SLAs, and serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, reporting to the Branch Manager.

You’ll travel to client sites as needed, manage account profitability, identify new opportunities, and lead quarterly business reviews to align expectations with field

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, customer service or related field.
• Ability to travel to client locations and attend after-hours events when necessary.
• Strong accountability, judgment, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with all levels of client organizations to ensure high quality service.
• Develop and implement account-specific strategies and monitor profitability and growth.
• Act as primary escalation contact for client concerns and coordinate with customer service.
• Conduct regular business reviews and communicate plans with production and sales teams.
• Identify opportunities for new business and enhancements within client portfolios.
• Lead smooth transition of accounts from Sales to Operations and ensure timely billing.
