Job summary

Cambrex is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to grow our Drug Substance CDMO business. You will build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts (typically 5–7), drive top-line growth, and generate revenue across the territory.

Responsibilities include pursuing development, technology transfer, and manufacturing opportunities, traveling to client sites and trade shows, and maintaining CRM data for forecasting and reviews. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related life-science field.
• Minimum 10 years in business development with CDMO sales.
• Experience selling API, fine chemicals, and custom technologies.
• Commercial pharma industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and environmental issues in pharma.

Responsibilities

• Achieve revenue growth targets within assigned accounts.
• Pursue development, tech transfer, and manufacturing opportunities.
• Build client relationships and expand partnerships.
• Represent Cambrex at client meetings and industry events.
• Maintain CRM data for forecasting and reviews.
• Travel to client sites and trade shows.
