Job summary

Cambrex Corp. in the United States is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to grow our Drug Substance CDMO business. You will build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts and drive top-line revenue growth across the territory.

The role requires deep experience in business development for CDMO services, ability to manage multi-million dollar contracts, and travel to client sites and trade shows. A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related life-science field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related life sciences.
• 10+ years in business development selling CDMO services.
• Experience in API, fine chemicals, or related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual revenue growth targets with focused accounts, including new and existing business.
• Pursue development, transfer, and manufacturing opportunities in drug substance.
• Build strong client relationships and maintain high visibility within networks.
• Identify industry needs and provide solutions that add value for customers.
• Liaise between Cambrex and external customers across multiple internal groups.
• Lead initiatives to introduce new projects and opportunities aligned with strategy.
• Travel to client sites and trade shows to develop business.
• Enter and maintain customer data in Salesforce for management and forecasting.
• Participate in business review meetings with customers and internal teams.
